A Heat Advisory remains in effect for all inland areas, while the beaches are excluded. Heat index values will range from 105° to 109° this afternoon.
Actual temperatures will also be above average, reaching around 90° along the coast and climbing into the mid to upper 90s inland. Florence’s record high today is 98 degree and Lumberton’s is 100.
