Murrells Inlet man facing charges after 2 shooting incidents in Myrtle Beach, Longs area

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Murrells Inlet man is facing multiple charges in two separate shooting incidents over the summer, according to police records obtained by News13.

Rashad Blocker, 19, has been charged with first-degree assault and battery, malicious injury to animals or property, and discharging a firearm within city limits. He was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Thursday, where he remains as of about noon Friday on a $250,000 bond.

The charges stem from two incidents, one in Horry County and one in Myrtle Beach, documents show.
