North Myrtle Beach police officer’s home caught fire after lightning strike

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A North Myrtle Beach police officer’s home caught on fire after a lightning strike Saturday night.

The North Myrtle Beach Fire Department responded to the North Myrtle Beach police officer’s home on fire and stopped it.

The officer and his family were not home at the time of the fire and are safe, but their home got damaged, NMBPD said.
