Conway woman accused of fraudulently acquiring more than 2,000 lottery tickets

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Conway woman has been arrested after she allegedly fraudulently acquired more than 2,000 lottery tickets, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Justice Perrin Boyd, 31, has been charged with attempting to influence lottery game by coercion, tampering, or deception. She was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Friday and released the same day.

Between June 3 and June 26, Boyd is accused of fraudulently acquiring 2,229 scratch-off tickets from a Refuel store along Highway 90 while she was an employee there, a SLED affidavit shows. The tickets had a cash prize of $8,691…
