ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The South Carolina Department of Public Health said rabies-confirmed animals were reported in several counties, including Anderson County.
DPH said a skunk found near Daniel Drive and Williford Road in Anderson has tested positive for rabies. One person was potentially exposed and was referred to their healthcare provider.
Additionally, DPH said two people, two cats and a dog were exposed to a stray cat that tested positive for rabies in Horry County. The people were referred to their healthcare provider. The animals will be quarantined…
