Much cooler Wednesday morning

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Temperatures are running nearly 10 degrees cooler this morning as we head out the door. Inland communities are seeing a few spots in the low 60s, while beach areas are starting in the mid to upper 60s.

Despite the cooler start, it will still be a warm afternoon. High temperatures will climb well into the 80s, but with humidity remaining at a manageable level, we’re not concerned about extreme heat. It will still feel warm, just much more comfortable than what we’ve experienced Monday.

Like yesterday, skies will be mostly sunny with no rain today. Thursday looks very similar, but changes begin late Thursday into Friday as humidity gradually increases. High pressure will weaken while a cold front approaches from the west, allowing more moisture to return to the area…
