Construction begins on U.S. 17 Corridor Improvements Project in North Myrtle Beach

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)– The South Carolina Department of Transportation has started the U.S. 17 Corridor Improvements Project in North Myrtle Beach.

The project’s aim is to is to lower angle crashes, upgrade intersections, and provide higher quality to pedestrian foot travel. Concrete medians, pedestrian ramps, crosswalks, and countdown signals will all be installed during this project.
