MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — It’s another nice, comfortable morning as you step outside. Dew points remain in the low 60s, so the air still has a light, refreshing feel to it. Unfortunately, that will begin to change later today as higher humidity returns ahead of the weekend.
Temperatures this morning are around 70 degrees in Myrtle Beach, while most other areas are sitting in the low to mid 60s. High temperatures will still be quite warm this afternoon, with beaches reaching the mid 80s and inland communities climbing into the upper 80s and low-90s. Thanks to the lower humidity, the heat will stay manageable, and there is no triple-digit heat in the forecast today.
During the evening, winds will shift from the northeast to the southeast, allowing more humid air to move back into the region for the weekend. As a result, we’ll see more humid days ahead than the cooler, more comfortable conditions we’ve enjoyed recently…
