Conway leaders have signed off on a plan that would bring hundreds of new homes to a stretch of Highway 378 just past Mill Pond Road, with city officials hoping the project also helps jumpstart a long-discussed nature trail in the area.
A developer plans to build 270 homes on roughly 88 acres. The site is part of a 120-acre tract that borders a creek called Altman Branch and the Crabtree Canal.
