NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C . (WBTW) — The North Myrtle Beach Police Department is hosting its fall Citizen Police Academy, offering community members an inside look at daily police operations and law enforcement training.
The program, open to residents ages 18 and older, meets weekly from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Department leaders designed the academy to demonstrate that police work extends beyond traffic stops and arrests, placing a strong focus on community outreach and relationship building.
