Spring-like temperatures into October

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Temperatures are a few degrees warmer as we start our Wednesday. A few spots are waking up in the upper 50s, but most inland communities are in the lower 60s, while the beaches are starting in the mid 60s.

Spring-like warmth will stick around for the rest of the week and into the upcoming weekend. High temperatures will climb well into the 80s each afternoon, with mid 80s expected along the coast and upper 80s inland.

Humidity levels are also higher than what we experienced over the weekend, adding a bit of stickiness to the air. It will feel 2 to 3 degrees warmer than the actual temperature, with inland heat index values approaching 90 degrees this afternoon, which is certainly above normal for late September…
