HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Neighbors packed a Horry County planning meeting Thursday to warn that a proposed rezoning near two busy highways could worsen flooding and traffic in their community.
A home builder is seeking to rezone roughly 180 acres along S.C. 905 near Old Reaves Ferry Road for a 372-home development. Neighbors argued the project would be bad for the Highway 905 and Highway 90 corridor and would have negative impacts on the surrounding area.
