Our main weathermaker right now is a frontal system gradually pushing across the Southeast. That is why we saw cloudy skies today, and some of us even saw showers and/or storms. Our shower and storm coverage will be more widespread tomorrow (Sunday). Localized instances of flash flooding will be possible tomorrow for locations that see a heavy storm, or if multiple storms or downpours train over a location. Expect high temperatures tomorrow to range from the upper 70s to right around 80.
Some rain will likely linger into Monday morning, but a cold front will eventually push this rain offshore. Behind this front, cooler and less humid fall air will move into the region and gift us a beautiful remainder of the work week…
