A Horry County woman who claims the only thing she did was “move a dead body” is asking for her murder sentence to be reduced.
Samantha Watts was sentenced to 45 years in 2025 in the murder of a North Carolina man, who was beaten to death on her Green Sea property. She also was charged with obstruction of justice.
