Klig’s Kites will host a Kite Festival on the beach in Cherry Grove.
This year, they’re celebrating America’s 250th birthday. As well as remembering the owner’s brother, Bruce Kligman, who passed away last year.
Everyone is invited to come try flying a kite. Experts will be on hand with tips and tricks. Event organizers like to bring people of all ages together to experience the fun of flying.
The idea is that this is an event that everybody can participate in. There’s no limitation to being this or that or that old or that young. Everyone can participate,” said Richard Kligman. “It’s even a situation where if you don’t have a Kite and you just want to come by and check out, it’s like literally painting in the sky for us. And it’s just a good way.
The Kite Festival is Saturday and Sunday (October 24-25) on the beach in Cherry Grove…
