It looks like a dry, sunny weekend is on tap for the Carolinas, as a cold front has passed by and a cooler, fall airmass settles in.
Saturday starts the streak of nice days with sunshine and highs in the upper 60s inland to the lower 70s along the coast.
Sunday looks sunny as well, just a tad cooler with temperatures starting out in the 40s to near 50, and rising to the mid-to-upper 60s.
Large high pressure across the eastern third of the nation will dominate the weather pattern for many days to come with sunshine and seasonable temperatures into the new week.
Rain chances will remain at zero for several days, with the next chance of any rain by Friday.
The Carolinas do need quite a bit of rain to ease the drought conditions, but the sunshine will feel nice, so do enjoy a gorgeous fall weekend!…
