Myrtle Beach rescinds boil water notice after water main leak

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach officials rescinded a boil water notice that was in place for part of the city this week. The city said the notice was issued for 3900 through 4126 Fairway Lakes Drive was made after a reported eight-inch water main leak. Crews worked to repair the leak, but it was later found the water was safe to drink after it was tested.
