MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – The White Sands Motel is now fenced off and city leaders said the property will be part of their Oceanfront Redevelopment Project. WMBF News first reported on the closure back in August 2023 when the Myrtle Beach Code Enforcement deemed the building uninhabitable and unsafe.
