MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Horry County once again saw the most complaints against homeowners associations across South Carolina, according to new data. The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs released its annual report Wednesday, stating it saw 517 total complaints over the calendar year 2023. Of that number, however, 152 were excluded due to either not meeting statutory requirements, being duplicates or being referred to other agencies and states.
