Judge sets $50K bond for suspect in deadly Myrtle Beach area shooting after charges downgraded, attorney says

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – A few weeks after a judge downgraded the charges of a suspect in a deadly Myrtle Beach area shooting, that suspect could soon be out on bond. Kvon Lawhorn is accused of shooting two people outside of the now-closed Barfield’s Bar and Grill, located on Frontage Road near Palmetto Pointe Boulevard back in October. 23-year-old Starquan Washington, a victim of the shooting, died after being taken to the hospital.
