MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A planned medical office building on Marina Parkway in Myrtle Beach took another step forward on Thursday as the city’s Community Appearance Board approved building permit applications for the project.
McLeod Health plans to build a 15,297-square-foot primary-care facility on 3.5 acres at 7001 Marina Parkway in the Grande Dunes area. The project was presented to the board by the developer, Development Resource Group.
Also on Thursday, the board had planned to review plans for a four-story, 122-room hotel on 15 acres at 1800 Sea Pine Boulevard, but the developer, Bowman Consulting Group/Nobel Investment Group, withdrew its application.
Officials said the developers will now have to resubmit the application for the Woodsprings Suite project at a future meeting.
