Sea turtles, beach erosion, land conservation, wildlife and tidal creeks were discussed among leaders in North Myrtle Beach earlier this week. South Carolina Beach Advocates held its 10th annual meeting with a three-day conference late January, with a portion of the discussion revolving around Waties Island just north of North Myrtle Beach.
