Construction underway for new Myrtle Beach fire station

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Construction has started for a new fire station in Myrtle Beach, the city said on Wednesday.

Myrtle Beach fire station No. 3 will be at S. Kings Highway and Harrelson Boulevard. Land clearing and infrastructure started on Wednesday.

The city said the current station will also be renovated to accommodate the Myrtle Beach Fire Department administration team and training offices. They hope to have the project complete by February 2025.
