Homeless man found dead with ‘chopping injuries’ in Myrtle Beach identified: Coroner

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) – A homeless man was assaulted and killed in Myrtle Beach this week, according to Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard. On Tuesday around 10 p.m., 43-year-old Robert Khattar received multiple blunt force and “chopping injuries to his face,” Willard said. She added he was homeless and sleeping in front of 1526 Plaza Place where the assault happened.
