Parking passes for non-Surfside Beach residents to go on sale Feb. 28

SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — The town of Surfside Beach has changed the date for selling parking passes to non-residents.

The passes will now go on sale on Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Paid parking resumes March 1 and goes through Oct. 31.

There are 150 parking passes for sale for $225 each, and passes are limited to one per household.

The town said the following lots will now be $3 per hour or $15 per day:

  • Seaside Drive
  • Yaupon Lot
  • 3rd Avenue N.
  • 6th Avenue N.
  • 3rd Avenue S.
  • 4th Avenue S.
  • 5th Avenue S.
  • 6th Avenue S.
  • 13th S. Beach Side
  • Melody Lane

All other lots excluding the pier will stay at $2 per hour or $10 per day. The pier lot will be $4 per hour with no daily max.
