This Haunted South Carolina Restaurant is a Must-Visit

As I turned my back to the rest of the group to view the bottles of alcohol behind the bar, I remembered what Will, the tour guide, had said, We have to leave all original pieces of the restaurant intact. If not… Well, the ghosts start to wreck things.

Will had already shared much about this place, including the original owners, Essie and Clarence Bessent. Essie even had a cat that was so dear to her that she had it buried on the property. Not only has Essie’s ghost been seen wandering through the halls, but the ghost of her cat has also been spotted here. The Brentwood is chock-full of paranormal activity.

As soon as I put my phone in my pocket, I felt something rush across the back of my legs, right below my calves. I spun around, shocked, looking at the women directly behind me. They looked back at me, confused. Neither of them knew what I was talking about when I described it. Myrtle Beach gets hot, especially during the summer. Because of this, I wore shorts.
