Photos: Alligator spotted at beach access in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — An alligator was saved from a pipe on a beach on Tuesday, Myrtle Beach officials said on Facebook.

It was spotted near 73rd Avenue N., the city said, calling the gator “a little stubborn, but teamwork got the job done.”

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources assisted and took the alligator to a more gator-friendly home, the city said.
