Myrtle Beach man helps solve second cold case in six months with sonar device

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WPDE) – The car of a man who’s been missing since 2015 has been found at the bottom of a Georgetown boat landing. The discovery was made by a Myrtle Beach man who made a sonar device out of a boogie board and used the device to scan bodies of water in hopes of bringing closure to families needing help.
