North Myrtle Beach industrial park closing in on another big-name tenant

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Another big-name tenant is poised to occupy space in North Myrtle Beach’s Palmetto Coast Industrial Park.

The city’s planning commission on Tuesday approved a zoning amendment allowing for construction of a 24,000-square-foot Cintas distribution center on the corner of Hunter Club and Water Tower roads.

Council members are expected to vote on the issue on Sept. 16.

Since late 2022 when Edgewater Ventures first announced plans for the 700,000-square-foot, 69-acre site, the park has already snagged major tenants including a $15 million Pepsi bottling plant that relocated from Conway and a same-day Amazon delivery site .
