CHICAGO (WMBF) – A woman whose niece was killed in Myrtle Beach 10 years ago took her story to the national stage Thursday night. During the final night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Melody McFadden took part in a gun violence panel and spoke about losing her niece, 22-year-old Sandy Barnwell, to a 2014 Memorial Day Weekend shooting.
