NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – A project to expand the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex is making “visible progress,” according to city officials. The city provided an update Friday on the project, stating that the second phase of the extension of Champions Boulevard is a little over halfway done. As of Friday, the city said contractors are installing infrastructure for draining and the base for the road.
