No kitten: Myrtle Beach police snag crafty felines that triggered burglar alarm

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Myrtle Beach police on Tuesday responded to a downtown business after its alarm was triggered, only to be greeted by a litter of kittens looking for their forever home.

Catastrophe was avoided as officers eased the prowling cats and their mother into custody, before any further calls came into feline-one-one.

“After a few catnip interviews, the MBPD determined the kittens and their mom just sounded the alarm for a new home,” the city wrote on its Facebook page. “Well played, cats, well played.
