$1 million Mega Millions winner sold at Food Lion on Highway 9 in Longs

LONGS, S.C. (WBTW) — A winning $1 million ticket in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery drawing was sold at a Food Lion store in Longs, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery.

The ticket, which matched all five white ball numbers, was purchased at the Food Lion store at 110 Highway 9 East. No one won the jackpot in Tuesday night’s drawing, but a $2 million winner was also sold at a Quik Trip convenience store in Fort Mill.

The winning numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing were 16, 18, 21, 54 and 65. The Megaball number was 5. The jackpot for Friday’s drawing will be an estimated $627 million.

Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. The odds of matching five white balls are 1 in 12,607,306, and the odds of winning the jackpot are about 1 in 303 million.
