LITTLE RIVER, S.C. (WMBF) – Imagine taking 20 minutes to get two-tenths of a mile from your house. That’s a reality for some in Little River. It’s all thanks to the intersection of S.C. 9 and S.C. 57 – now dubbed the most accident-prone in the county. Data from the South Carolina Highway Patrol shows there have been 49 crashes at the intersection since 2020.
