Myrtle Beach brewery hosts Labor Day Oktoberfest bash

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)- It was Oktoberfest in downtown Myrtle Beach, as Grand Strand Brewing Company hosted a weekend filled with German bites, music and the celebration of its popular Oktoberfest beer back on tap.

The Oktoberfest fall kick off started on Friday and wrapped up on Sunday.
Serving up twisted pretzels, bratwurst with homemade sauerkraut and limited 48-ounce steins.
Brewery bartender and manager James “Jam” Mayfield said the steins sold out instantly.

“We kill it, we can it. It’s a staff favorite and everyone comes in for it,” he said. “Friday was a great day for us, we sold out of the beer steins. Had the beer stein hold like we do, where everyone lines up along the tanks and everyone holds their stein out. It was really a good day.”

If you want to get your sip of the brewery’s Oktoberfest beer it will available for another few weeks.
