Man pleads guilty to shoe sale-turned-robbery in Myrtle Beach, gets 10 years

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – A man arrested last month for his part in a Myrtle Beach shoe sale-turned-robbery will spend a decade behind bars. The 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said 22-year-old Saveyon Scurry pleaded guilty Tuesday to counts of armed robbery, strong-armed robbery and trespassing. The plea came before Scurry was set to go to trial later this week.
