Georgetown man in custody after 1 dead at Plantersville Store

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WBTW) — A Georgetown man was taken into custody Sunday after a deadly shooting at the Plantersville Store, the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said.

Daemon Hykem Sanders, 20, was taken into custody shortly after 7 p.m. Georgetown County authorities had asking the public for help finding him.

Sanders was taken to the Georgetown County Detention Center to await a bond hearing Monday.
