MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A mysterious object that sparked an hourslong search in the Grand Strand on Sunday turned out to be a party decoration. The Myrtle Beach Police Department responded just after 11 a.m. for a report of an object falling into the ocean near 18th Avenue South.
