MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Happy Saturday everyone! This morning you are greeted to cooler and less humid air. A cold front passed through the area last night. That has lowered our humidity, and has switched our wind direction. We are starting the day with temperatures in the upper 50s, to mid 60s. Not much movement today in the temperature department. We will see highs make it in the low 70s today across the area. A stiff north to northeast wind will make conditions breezy from time to time today. We could see wind gusts along our coastal areas reach 20-25 mph. Inland breezes could gusts to around 20 mph from time to time.
Tonight with clear skies and wind speeds lowering, we will see low temperatures in the low to mid 50s. More seasonable for the area. If you are heading out to the Careteam plus benefit concert, you may want to bring the jacket as it will fill a little chilly by the end of the event.
Sunday will start off mostly sunny across the area, our next weather maker will be moving towards the area by Sunday afternoon, clouds will begin to thicken in the late afternoon hours. A few isolated showers can’t be ruled out as we get passed sunset. Highs on Sunday will be in the low to mid 70s. Overnight lows not as bad. We will see temperatures in the low to mid 60s area wide.
