The leadership structure of the town of Atlantic Beach changed drastically this week. The old guard was led by Mayor Jake Evans, Josephine Isom and Jacqueline Gore. None of those three were at the town council meeting Friday, Nov. 8, where council voted to change the acting town manager, alter the makeup of the municipal election commission and nominate a new Mayor Pro Tempore.
