HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Conway man was arrested Thursday after authorities said he punched a wall while leaving a supervised visit with his children, who were removed from his home by Horry County DSS in September after testing positive for amphetamines and cocaine.
Robert Earl John Reeve, 38, was jailed on Thursday and charged with four counts of unlawful conduct toward a child. As of Friday afternoon, he remained at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $40,000 bond, according to online jail records.
The incident that led to his arrest happened on Wednesday at the Department of Social Services office on Industrial Park Road, according to an Horry County police incident report, which said Reeve became “agitated” because he “didn’t like the outcome of his supervised visit with his children.”
As he was leaving the office, Reeve allegedly hit the wall, “leaving a baseball size dent,” the report said. He later admitted to hitting the wall and was given a ticket and a court date in January.
