Downed traffic lights cause delays in South Strand

MURRELLS INLET, S.C. (WMBF) – Strong winds knocked down a set of traffic lights in the South Strand Friday afternoon, according to Horry County Fire Rescue. HCFR crews responded to the call at 2:07 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 707 and Holmestown Road. The downed lights have blocked the lanes of traffic near Timberlake Dive heading towards Murrells Inlet.
