MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Temperatures are 2-6 degrees colder than yesterday with more cities dipping into the 20s. It will be partly sunny and slightly warmer with average temperatures in the mid-50s.
A cold front will push through this afternoon with no rain. This will bring a more dramatic cooldown for the weekend. Winds quickly become northwesterly as the cold front moves across the area from 2-6 p.m. Temperatures will be in the mid-20s along the border belt tonight, mid and upper-20s inland, and near 30 at the beach.
Highs throughout the weekend will be in the mid-40s to near 50 degrees with nighttime temperatures in the 20s. Bright and sunny on Saturday with more clouds on Sunday.
Our next chance for rain will be on Monday with another cold front. Temperatures will warm significantly into the low and mid-60s on Monday, and then they will return to the 40s on Tuesday due to the cold front. The rain with Monday’s system will be light with 0.1-0.25″ expected.
Expected cooler-than-normal temperatures to persist through the next work week.
