MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)– One local car wash is seeing a boost in business following the nearly five inches of snow the coast experienced this past week.
Mako Express on U.S. 17 just across from Myrtle Beach State Park opened about a month ago — seemingly just in time for the winter blast that hit the region, owner Chris Daniels said.
“We’ve been really busy after the snow. We have been encouraging people to come out, wash their cars,” he said. “All of our washes come with an undercarriage rinse … it’s really important to get it cleaned up, so it doesn’t rust out.”…
