Across the nation, egg prices and shortages have ruffled feathers amid an ongoing bird flu outbreak and Myrtle Beach is no exception.
At Myrtle Beach grocery stores Tuesday, eggs were sparser than usual. Kroger shelves missing products like Simple Truth organic brown eggs and Pete and Gerry’s pasture-raised eggs instead displayed signs.
“Attention Customers: Due to recent supply shortages, fresh eggs that meet our high-quality standards are limited in quantity,” the signs said. “We appreciate your patience as we work to get all egg varieties back in stock.”…
