Surfside Beach council approves emergency ordinance to crack down on pier usage

SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – The Surfside Beach town council approved an emergency ordinance on Tuesday to ban certain usage of the new pier.

The newly approved ordinance would ban anyone from hanging items like swings, slings, signs, or hammocks from the Surfside Beach Pier.
