A Horry County woman is suing Chipotle Mexican Grill of Colorado LLC for a maximum amount of nearly $75,000 after food from a Myrtle Beach-area location allegedly made her “violently ill.”
Horry County resident Erica Quick became ill after consuming an order of beef brisket, brown rice and pinto beans from a Chipotle restaurant “located near Myrtle Beach,” according to a personal injury lawsuit filed on her behalf on March 7 in the Common Pleas Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court. An attempt to reach Quick’s attorney was unsuccessful on Monday.
