HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 23-year-old Longs man had been drinking when he drove his truck left of center early Sunday morning and hit an SUV, killing the driver, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers charged Dylan Cole Butler with felony driving under the influence resulting in a death after the crash, which happened at about 3:15 a.m. on Highway 57 near the intersection with Highway 90 outside North Myrtle Beach.
Tammy Blanton, 63, died from traumatic injuries suffered in the crash, which also injured a person in her SUV, the Horry County Coroner’s Office said. No information on the passenger’s injuries was immediately available…
