Runnin’ Bulldogs Shine at Day Two of Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge

The Gardner-Webb University track and field team delivered impressive performances on the second day of the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge. Highlights included a seventh-place finish for sophomore Nico Phillips in the men’s 200 meters (22.10 seconds) and an eighth-place finish for senior Noah Meadows (22.22 seconds). Sophomore Nathan Cremin secured third in the men’s 400 meters with a time of 48.60 seconds, while junior Jessica Perriello won the women’s 1500 meters in 4:40. Freshmen Emily Leatherman and Megan Devanny excelled in the women’s 3000 meters, finishing second and fourth, respectively. The team also achieved success in the discus throw, with junior Quentin Peterson and sophomore Zoie Johnson taking first place in the men’s and women’s events.
