Loris Lions roar with pride as block party celebrates local athletics and achievements

It was a block party that roared to life as community members came out to support Loris High School athletics and celebrate their achievements.

The Loris Lions Roar Block Party took place on Saturday night.

The block party had several speakers, vendors, inflatables, games, and chicken bog.

Families, fans, and local leaders all came out to downtown Loris to rally behind their Lions.

“We are celebrating, as you can hear behind me. They’re introducing all of the teams. The mayor’s here. House of representatives Kevin Hardy will be here to give them a formal proclamation. And the community is just out celebrating and we’re proud to be a Lion,” said Samantha Norris, the Executive Director for the Loris Chamber of Commerce…
